Since it is built specifically for alpacas, the hay saver alpaca feeder takes into account alpaca needs. The standard hay saver feeder is 6 feet long and double sided providing 12 feet of easy feed access for your alpacas.

The hay saver feeder design has a solid tray under the hay which is a great place for feeding grain. With an adjustable height, the feeder can be placed low enough for even cria access.

The feeder has two hinged lids for easily adding hay from any side. It has four independent adjustable legs for placing on uneven ground The feeder is manufactured from weather-resistant fiberglass and heavy steel, which is sand blasted and coated with a rust protection paint.

It provides more than just easy feed access. It helps to maintain a cleaner, safer environment for your alpacas and helps to reduce your feeding costs.

• By being covered, the hay saver feeder can be placed outside and still protect the hay from excessive sun, rain or snow.

• By the feeder using heavy screen panels, the alpacas can remove only a mouthful of hay at a time.
